I’m behind on some beer labels so there a bunch to get through today. Here is the East Coast batch…
Debutante: Stillwater label copy…”It’s my pleasure to present a collaboration with The Brewer’s Art. A Baltimore institution that helped to pioneer the Belgian beer movement in the States. Brewed with a combination of Spelt and Rye, accented with a blend of Heather, Honeysuckle and Hyssop. The result is a rustic farmhouse ale displaying earthy tones and floral characteristics while maintaining intricate balance.”
It’s worth noting that The Brewer’s Art also did a collaboration with Flying Dog called Table for Two.
Cigar City Good Gourd: Label copy…”This high-gravity gob of gourd-y goodness incorporates pumpkin in the mashing process and then gets wicked with the spices including Ceylon cinnamon, Jamaican all spice, Zanzibar cloves and nutmeg.” I’m actually not certain whether this has ever been bottled but if it was, it was extremely limited.
We have new label artwork for Cigar City Guava Grove and Cricket Hill Hopnotic IPA (this one may or may not be a scanning error as far as how the color appears).
Stegmaier Pumpkin Ale and Grieve’s 1803 Fat Ox Ale have also been approved.
If I remember correctly, Good Gourd was to be bottled for the first time this past fall but the label didn’t get approved in time, so it ended up being a draft-only offering.
