(Gorham, ME) – Sebago Brewing Company is pleased to announce the release of their newest Single Batch Series beer, Trekker Pale Ale.
Trekker Pale Ale was brewed during Brewing For A Cause on May 7th, 2011. The 2nd Annual Brewing For A Cause was a fundraiser for the Trek Across Maine, a 3-day, 180 mile bike ride in support of the mission of the American Lung Association. Sebago Brewing Company has had a team participating in the Trek Across Maine for several years.
Around twenty beer brewing enthusiasts attended the day-long fundraiser and were able to be “Brewers For A Day”, participating in the brewing process for Trekker Pale Ale from start to finish.
Trekker Pale Ale (6.1% ABV) is a classic American pale ale. It is light bronze in color, with a moderate malt character up front that gives way to an increasing hop aroma with a clean dry finish. Trekker Pale Ale can be paired with a multitude of foods from hearty steaks to fish dishes with a richer flavor such as tuna or salmon.
Samples of Trekker Pale Ale are available to members of the press who would like to review this beer for their publications. Please contact [email protected] if you would like to review this beer.
Trekker Pale Ale is available through June and July on draft and in 22oz bombers to-go at all Sebago locations. It will also be available on draft in bars, pubs, taverns, restaurants, in 22oz bottles at better beer retailers throughout New England.
