La Citrueille Céleste de Citracado collab tentatively set for mid-fall

The last 24-36 hours have been full of news out of Stone and The Bruery…so why not some more? Stone updated fans throughout the day yesterday as it brewed its latest collaboration.

Collaboration brew day! The Bruery / Elysian Brewing Company / Stone La Citrueille Céleste de Citracado is a pumpkin/rye/yam/fenugreek/birch bark/lemon verbena beer that should be out in late October/early November. It’s been a messy brew so far!

Stone used 650 pounds of roasted 100% “Stone Farms estate grown” pumpkins for this brew. It’ll be the same quantity as most of the collab beers (approx. 360 bbls). Oh, and as for the beer name itself it translates to “The Celestial (Heavenly) Pumpkin of Citracado.” Citracado is an ode to Citracado Parkway where Stone Brewing is based.

  1. First the Quingenti Millilitre Series and now La Citrouille Celeste de Citracado?? This seems antithetical to their edgy, ‘arrogant’ brand identity that they’ve worked so long to cultivate. Or did I miss the press release for Stone Pretentious Bastard?
