WaPo: Sierra Nevada considering additional East locations, may expand FOAM distribution
Zoinks! There is a lot of good stuff in this post by The Washington Post’s Greg Kitsock. Here’s the snippet regarding Sierra Nevada Brewing:
Bill Manley, Sierra Nevada’s communications director, says the company has opened up the search to “two or three” additional sites, which he declined to identify while due diligence was going on. Sierra Nevada will decide “probably by mid-fall, definitely by the end of the year,” he said.
In other news, Manley noted that the brewery is considering a wider distribution in 2012 for its Foam, a hoppy pilsner that up to now has only been available at Phish concerts, most recently the group’s Superball IX festival in upstate New York in July 2011.
