CBD: Oskar Blues Deviant Dale’s IPA “first candidate” for 16 oz. cans
UPDATE: Oskar Blues Deviant Dale’s IPA label approved!
Remember how Oskar Blues Brewery is getting a new canning line capable of producing 16 oz cans? Craft Business Daily reports (paid subscription):
Deviant is the first candidate for the new package, slated to debut in early spring.
March to be exact. “Deviant” refers to Deviant Dale’s IPA, a beer that just won a silver medal in the hotly-contested IPA category at the Great American Beer Festival. 176 beers were entered in that category, an all-time record for any category.
The brewery says, “At 8% ABV, four hop additions, and a final excessive wallop of Columbus dry-hopping, this beer is meant to say one thing: MORE HOPS!”
