More on Brooklyn The Companion
My little blurb on The Companion from last week has been upstaged. Nice work, Mr. Kitsock.
What’s unique about The Companion, however, is that it utilizes a special variety of floor-malted wheat from Weyermann Specialty Malts in Bamberg, Germany, which “hasn’t been available here for over a century,” according to Brooklyn brewmaster Garrett Oliver.

I went to a beer dinner last night hosted by Garrett Oliver, who said Brooklyn has the entire supply of floor-malted wheat in the United States.
Yup, they sure do.
