SweetWater’s Medlin and Farace on growth, expansion (video)
More video from Brewbound… You may have read about SweetWater’s expansion this past August. Now hear about it straight from Head Brewer, Mark Medlin, and Marketing Manager, Steve Farace.
Medlin notes that they are right at about capacity of 110,000 barrels which means the brewery is likely to reach 25% growth in back-to-back years. SweetWater produced around 77,000 barrels of beer in 2010 according to the Brewers Association (The New Brewer, May/June ’11). The brewery is focused on expansion and doesn’t plan to add any new year-round beers anytime soon.
