Upslope Brewing sales up 73% in 2011
Some notes from watching this video with Upslope Brewing founder, Matt Cutter…
– Up 73% after being up 115% this year
– Took on a Colorado distributor earlier this year but is still self-distributing in its county, handing over those accounts that the brewery grew to a third party was a big step
– Is now in 300 of the 1700 accounts that the distributor serves so feels there is a lot of room to grow right in Colorado
– That said, hasn’t ruled out expanding distribution in 2012
– Will be at capacity again in 2012 despite bringing in new fermenters
– Look for Christmas Ale on draft the first week of December
