Yuengling production up near 2.3 million barrels in 2011 (video)
Yuengling Owner and President, Dick Yuengling, told CNN that the company will be well over 2.2 million barrels produced this year and may be closer to 2.3 million barrels.
Yuengling produced around 2.15 million barrels last year so, given Yuengling’s estimate, the brewery’s growth is tracking at 5-6% this year, down from 12% growth in 2009. This despite a reportedly huge launch in Ohio at the beginning of the fourth quarter…
Boston Beer Co., meanwhile, is on track to grow around 8% in terms of shipments this year.

Breweries: D.G. Yuengling and Son
And yet, still not in Indiana.
IMHO this is one of the more over-hyped beers out there. I’ll actually be posting my review of the Traditional Lager tonight. My conclusion – spoiler alert – is that it’s really just the best of the worst.
