(San Diego, CA) – Ballast Point Brewing announced on its Facebook page in recent weeks that it has expanded distribution to Hawaii through Paradise Beverage.

As part of the same post, the brewery also tipped off fans that it is planning to expand distribution to Washington in late 2012.

Ballast Point returned to North Carolina earlier this fall through Freedom Distributing.

As for when the brewery will return to New Jersey, “We kind of stopped in NJ, but not really. Our distributor wanted to wait until they could get a consistent flow of product…which is really not possible…we will be shipping sooner than later.”

Meanwhile, the brewery has had a rough go of it in Texas. Craft Business Daily reported on October 20th that Ballast Point was going to be available in Dallas and Corpus Christi through Andrews Distributing. According to a source, the beer arrived at the warehouse several weeks ago but has not yet received label approval at the state level. When distributing to Texas, wait for the TABC to approve first…then ship the beer.

Oh, and Sculpin IPA 6-packs could be on the way in 2012.
