Heavy Seas Beer grows 55% in 2011
This year, Heavy Seas Beer celebrated its sixteenth anniversary. It was a good year. We added 10,000 square feet to our brewery and expanded into a new shipping warehouse; we expanded installed four new fermenters; we brewed 31,000 barrels of delicious, carefully crafted beer and licensed our brand to allow for the opening of a Heavy Seas Ale House.
Really impressive given the brewery hit just shy of 20,000 barrels last year (per The New Brewer May/June).
