Nine months later, Troegs Brewing and Bethlehem Brew Works settle Elf dispute

Bethlehem-based Fegley’s Brew Works has settled a trademark dispute with Troegs Brewing Co. of Hershey over the use of disgruntled elves in the names and branding for both brew masters’ Christmastime offerings.

I wrote it up in March if you’re interested in the full background. On October 12th, Troegs filed an opposition to Brew Works’ latest claims and then eight days later, both breweries with drew their oppositions.

A few weeks earlier, a label approval called, “The Peaceful Elf,” an all-American collaboration came through though the beer has not yet surfaced. It hasn’t been confirmed whether the beer is related to the case.
