Stone’s next collaboration beer, TBA, receives label approval

TBA Extra Hoppy Brown Ale

(Escondido, CA) – Label approval came in this week for the latest in Stone Brewing‘s collaboration series, TBA Extra Hoppy Brown Ale. Stone worked with Bear Republic and Fat Head’s on this one.

According to Fat Head’s version of the back label, the name “TBA” is an ode to one of Head Brewer, Matt Cole’s early homebrews, a Texas Brown Ale. TBA features a malt bill of Maris Otter, Munich, wheat, Victory and chocolate. The beer is hopped with Columbus, Bravo, Brewers’ Gold and Cascade.

Brew day was December 19th at Stone though no further word has been given about release timing.
