(Portland, OR) – Breakside Brewery just sent out a note about some new beers coming soon.

To celebrate Zwickelmania—the premier beer tourism event in Oregon–Breakside Brewery (820 NE Dekum) will debut three beers and release new bottles for the event.
Beginning at 11 AM this Saturday, the brewery will be open for tours and free samples of beer. On tap for the event will be Breakside’s American Wheat—a classic American-style ‘Hefeweizen’ with a touch of Centennial hop character, as well as two versions of a dry-hopped gin barrel-aged IPA: Citra Gin IPA and Simcoe Gin IPA. The Gin IPAs will be on draught throughout the day and will be available in very limited quantities in 750 ml bottles for take away. Breakside brewer Sam Barber, who racked the Gin IPAs over this past weekend, said “the mix of hop and juniper character is truly lovely.”
For the event, the brewery also plans to serve the rest of its specialty Lavender Fudge Stout, which was tapped earlier this week for an event at Saraveza.
