Cabinet Artisanal Brewhouse strikes distribution deal: 35 states and Europe

But will it have enough to send around? Take a look at the level of production…

Three weeks ago, according to Hawbaker, (Cabinet Artisanal Brewhouse) agreed to a distribution contract that will place its beer in 35 states and Europe in the coming months. Production will be tiny by industry standards: only about 50 barrels per month at first, or roughly 1,500 gallons. Still, for a brewery that hardly exists — Hawbaker has brewed only a handful of test batches, on equipment left behind by Shenandoah — such a deal is unusual.

  1. Yeah, I can’t see this going well at all, especially at a time when the most popular craft breweries are struggling to meet quotas and pulling out of markets. Makes it hard to believe that they’re really focusing on the quality of their product.

  2. @afrokaze………The thing is this is a niche market with a team that has great existing contacts….they are a great team and one thing they will never do is put out a sub pair product……..this is exciting news if you have ever had any of the brewers beers they are great he used to brew at bullfrog…..if anything thing they are going to have a hard time keeping up with production……hope for nothing but the best and I’m sure it will happen

  3. Huh? 35 states and Europe with 50 barrels a month? What is their packaging and pricing? I think even Bryan Strumke would raise a pretty big eye brow to this…these numbers must be off.
