(San Marcos, CA) – Here is a sneak peek of Churchill’s Finest Hour, a beer that Port Brewing and The Lost Abbey brews for Churchill’s Pub and Grille each year. The blend changes each year and, in its third year, the beer is a blend of bourbon barrel aged Old Viscosity and rye barrel aged Serpent’s Stout.
Bottles will be available exclusively at Churchill’s Pub on March 3rd.
Per the Facebook event page…
This is an insane party where we tap a huge amount of rare beers. Pliny the Younger will also be tapped. We will offer a very limited amount of Churchill’s Finest Hour to be sold to go. Lines will be long… specialty food menu…. it will be epic.
The video above features Gwen Conley, The Lost Abbey’s Quality Assurance Director, and Ivan Derezin, the owner of Churchill’s Pub and Grille, discussing the blend.
No Rye barrels were used in the blend. You might want to edit your post.
Thanks, Arthur. That information was posted on the official Lost Abbey youtube page. I have a request out for a correction. Cheers.
