Press Release:

(Los Angeles, CA) – Less than one month after announcing their initial retail distribution in the greater Los Angeles area, Golden Road Brewing is proud to announce their expansion into Orange County.

Says Co-Founder Meg Gill, “When the opportunity arose to work with Straub Distributing Co. and retailers like Haven Gastropub, it was too good to pass up. We are extremely thrilled about this expansion, and although our focus has primarily been on distribution throughout Los Angeles, the Orange County market is less than 40 miles away, and we really consider Straub to be a local beer partner and a home-market distributor.”

The brewery’s signature 16oz cans of Golden Road Hefeweizen and Point the Way IPA will now be available at all Whole Foods Markets in Orange County, as well as select retailers and specialty stores.

The beer will also be available on draft at many local bars and to celebrate this expansion, Golden Road Brewing will be hosting an event on Wednesday, February 15th at Haven Gastropub. Co-founder Meg Gill and Sales Director Bryant Goulding will be present to talk with guests about the beer and the brewery from 6-9pm, and in addition to the Golden Road Hefeweizen and Point the Way IPA, Haven Gastropub will also have two limited edition Golden Road brews, the Get Up Offa That Brown (an English-style brown ale) and Either Side of the Hill (a pale ale with heavy hops), on tap. Guests who arrive early will also receive Golden Road glassware.
