Make that light lager taste better with artificial flavoring drops (video)

Don’t like the way that Bud Light tastes? Meet “Hop Drops.”

The name is a wee bit misleading since it has nothing to do with hops and everything to do with artificial flavoring. I just love how the anchor disses the reporter at the end of the video and she doesn’t appear amused. Oh, and raise your hand if you would buy this product once it is FDA-approved.

  1. Ummm…..no…..well, on second thought, I am curious how the chocolate+coffee taste in the light beer….but I dont see it happening…

  2. I know homebrewers who have experimented with Mio and other flavor drops in beer. Some can be good, depending on the beer it was added to. Blueberry added to a light lager, no thanks.

  3. That’s weird. Here’s this brand-new idea that no one ever thought of or tried to market before… Especially not the largest beer producer in the world… like 5 years ago… Does no one remember AB’s “Spykes?” Not surprised. They only lasted on the market for like 4 months. And theirs even had more booze/caffeine. Wa wa wa…

  4. I think the Bud Light Lime could use a stronger taste of lime and maybe a hint a sweetness as it is , it is a bit too watery so many these flavors might work for that ?
