  1. So what. We live in a free market. If people do not purchase a marked-up ticket or tickets, prices will drop and only fans will purchase tickets in subsequent years (the secondary market will collapse). We know this will not happen. I understand that people who did not score a pair are upset. This is not the fault of Three Floyds (as some have suggested) or the free market.

    Before you hate…

Saturday afternoon (12:01 to be exact) I was entering my CC info for tickets when the ticket server disconnected me and I lost my tickets. Maybe the ticket broker can produce a more eloquent system that transfers individuals to an alternative server that has less traffic in an effort to avoid accidents like this. Also, last year my two tickets qualified me to purchase limited bottle releases. I gave up one ticket (free of charge) to the person behind me who came up with zip. I could have charged him or I could have bought a second Pappy-aged bottle and placed it on Ebay for loot. I did not. My choice….because I exist in a free market.

The only solution to scalping is to not purchase marked-up tickets.

    Cheers!
