(Denver, CO) – The Elevation Beer Co. team appeared on Colorado Craft Beer Radio on Saturday. The guys revealed that the TTB approved its brewers license application in “a record 21 days” so brewing has begun. Elevation operates a 15-barrel Premier system, consisting of three 30-barrel fermenters and a 15-barrel fermenter, and projects the first commercial batches to be available in early April.
The company sent out a press release last month detailing what it plans on doing with the Black Diamond Series. Apis IV will be released in cork-and-caged bottles at the Grand Opening on May 19th.
The guys dedicated a good amount of airtime to talking about “First Cast IPA,” part of the Brewer’s Playground Series. Elevation has both a Single Hop Summit IPA and a Single Hop Zythos IPA, each sourced with malts produced locally by Colorado Malting Company. Currently fermenting in the tanks are one of the IPAs and a Saison. They are also working on the Blue Square Series. Information overload…the website is under construction though expect to see a breakdown of the various product lines on there in the future.
