Mystic Old Powderhouse Wheat Wine front label

Mystic Old Powderhouse Wheat Wine coming soon

"Old Powderhouse" is a wheat wine style ale made with Massachusetts grown wheat and dedicated to the spirit of independence represented by the Old Powder House in Somerville. The Old Powder House was once a grain mill on a farm high above the Mystic Valley. It made its mark in history by being the powder keg storage building that was seized by the British inciting "4000 angry men, mostly farmers, to descend upon Cambridge Common" where they decided to fight for independence. A release party and ‘Old Powderhouse’ keg-tapping will take place at the Cambridge Common restaurant at 1667 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge from 6-9pm on Wednesday, April 11th.

Look for 750s on shelves in April.
