Samuel Adams update: Belgian Session, Summer Ale, LongShot and more

Samuel Adams Belgian Session

(Boston, MA) – The Boston Beer Co. has a bunch of new releases on the docket this month.

Neffsville Beer Mart in Pennsylvania became the first liquor store in 2012 to report the arrival of Samuel Adams Summer Ale on Twitter.

Also currently on shelves…two recently-released Small Batch Series beers: Samuel Adams Cinder Bock and Dark Depths Baltic IPA. Not to mention, the draft-only Samuel Adams B’Austin Ale that just launched this past weekend at SXSW…

On deck are two beers that just shipped and should begin hitting markets shortly: Samuel Adams Belgian Session, part of the Summer Variety 12-Pack, and the 2012 LongShot mixed 6-Pack featuring: Samuel Adams Derf’s Secret Alt, Samuel Adams Five Crown Imperial Stout and Samuel Adams Munich Dunkel.

And if you missed it, BeerPulse revealed the company’s forthcoming IPA Hop-ology Mixed Pack, slated for late spring.

More info on Belgian Session below…

Commercial description:

Brewed with our unique strain of Belgian yeast that imparts a floral and spicy clove character that comes through in the aroma, flavor, and finish of the beer. The blend of malts, including Gambrinus Honey Malt, give the beer a subtle toffee and caramel sweetness. The Hallertau Mittelfrueh Noble hops add a subtle floral character while the American Ahtanum hops have a citrusy character. What makes this beer stand out is its sessionability. At 4.4% ABV this brew is light and crisp but still flavorful and satisfying.

  1. Hi. Is this Samuel Adams Belgium Sessions beer suppose to have small particles floating inside the bottle. Or is the bottle bad and no good to drink. I got 2 bottles from a friend and want to make sure it is still good. Thanks
