Anheuser-Busch gender discrimination lawsuit drags on
If today’s motion hearing in the gender discrimination case Francine Katz brought against Anheuser-Busch is any guide, it could be a lengthy and vicious legal battle. Katz, who was the brewer’s highest-ranking woman and the first female member of the all-important strategy committee, filed a lawsuit in October 2009 alleging that she was paid significantly less than her male counterparts and that A-B encouraged a “locker room” atmosphere that was detrimental to women.
