UPDATE: Plum Market hopes to get this beer in 3-4 weeks.
(Dexter, MI) – Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales received label approval for a new beer this week. Jolly Pumpkin Cinco Años Plum Market Anniversary Ale will be a limited, small batch release for Plum Market stores and the Jolly Pumpkin Cafes according to a brewery rep. The brewery has not yet set a timetable for its release.
Label copy:
We hope you enjoy this special Plum Market, Jolly Pumpkin collaborative ale, brewed specifically in celebration of Plum Market’s five year anniversary.
A special sour blend, aged on ever exotic Royal Diamond plums (from South America); amber with a hint of roast, malty, sweet and sour and the delicate aroma and delicious flavor of more plums than you can shake a stick at.
Five years goes far too fast. Here’s to the next five!
Good lord. I’m sure Plum Market is stoked that “plum” is misspelled twice in the beer description. Correct usage: that’s a plumb stupid mistake.
Umm…@Joseph – am I missing something??
BeerJon — read the description on the actual label (in the photo). BeerPulse (or somebody) corrected the errors for the label copy in the story.
Not to worrry, that will be fixed.
Ah — good to know. The beer does sound delicious!
