Brewmaster and Partner, Matt Brynildson, has been flooding Twitter with photos of the new brewery’s construction. Rather than sell the old system and get a larger one, the team opted to get a system that would work similarly to its existing 50-barrel JV Northwest (5-vessel) setup. The new brewhouse is a 60-barrel Huppmann system from GEA Brewery Systems.

New releases? The brewery reported on Twitter that Parabola shipped last week.

Finally, just discovered that Co-Founder David Walker appeared on Beer O’ Clock Radio back in January. The brewery made it clear that it values ‘local’ with its release of 805 earlier in the year. Here’s more from Walker on the subject, “If you got your finger on the pulse of sustainability, it makes no sense to put a session beer into a 6-pack, keep it cold for 3,000 miles and send it to another market. It’s just dumb. 85% of our beer is sold within 100 miles of our brewery. 96% our beer is sold within a day’s drive of our brewery.”
