Our Apocalyptic Adventures are hitting the half way point this month! Join us on 6.21.12 as we turn Elysian Capitol Hill into a Wasteland. On Thursday, June 21st from 5-8pm come toast the release of the sixth of our 12 Beers of the Apocalypse: Wasteland Elderflower Saison.
New to shelves, Prometheus IPA – our second release in our Manic IPA series – is now available in bottles and on draft at local stores, restaurants and alehouses. AVAILABLE MAY – AUG 2012. Loser Pale Ale six-packs are also available now. AVAILABLE MAY – JULY 2012.
You can expect to see these hit taps at all of our pubs over the next couple months:
Ambrosia Maibock :: A slightly strong, slightly sweet, golden lager.
Bikini Kill :: A sessionable, hop forward Belgian summer ale.
Zephyrus Pilsner :: A light and crisp German-style pilsner.
Space Dust IPA :: An out-of-this-world IPA featuring Chinook, Citra and Amarillo hops.
White Woods Wit :: A hazy, quaffable interpretation of a Belgian white with hints of ginger and spices.
Yuzu’s Saison :: A refreshing Belgian with a citric kick from Yuzu juice and organic dried lemon peel.
Hombre :: Easy drinking Mexican lager brewed with pale malt, corn in the mash, and lightly bitterer with Saaz hops.
The Great Pumpkin :: Enjoy a summer preview of one of our most beloved pumpkin ales.
Bunsen and Beaker Experimental Pale Ales
Since we are in such close proximity to Yakima, we decided to take part in a brewing experiment with two newly developed hop varieties. We named these brews Bunsen and Beaker.
BUNSEN :: Experimental Pale Ale
In the Bunsen brew, we exclusively used hop #369 throughout the boil, whirlpool, and fermenter. We picked up notes of grapefruit, mandarin, passion fruit, and mint. ABV 6.5%
BEAKER :: Experimental Pale Ale
In the Beaker brew we almost exclusively used HOP … … meep meep! This hop is still so early in the developmental stages that we must remain mum on the identification number, but the flavors that we picked up were more earthy, with a touch of Meyer lemon. ABV 5.7%
