Freetail Brewing founder on Texas’ stifling beer laws

scott metzger(San Antonio, TX) – Freetail Brewing Founder and CEO, Scott Metzger, took to Twitter again this afternoon to voice his displeasure with the state of beer laws in Texas.

The tweets were fueled by today’s press release from the Oregon Brewers Guild stating that Oregon breweries produced just over 1.1 million barrels of beer in 2011. Metzger has been working on a report for the Texas Craft Brewers Guild, “Economic Impact of the Texas Craft Brewing Industry.”
