Boston Beer Co. updates on brewery expansion notes

Samuel Adams Logo (Boston Beer Co)(Boston, MA) – The Boston Beer Company sent out a newsletter on Friday detailing some of the construction projects around the Boston facility.

For those who have visited our Boston Brewery this summer, you may have noticed we’ve taken on a series of construction projects. With the goal of creating a better experience for you, we’ve made some exciting improvements including:

Windows built into the side of The Barrel Room, giving you a different view of our oak tuns which were disassembled at a cooperage in Portugal and shipped here to Boston a few years ago! If you’ve never seen them before, you should… they’re huge!

An additional tasting room was added allowing us to expand our tours as well as potentially offering other events down the road. Beer dinners? Beer education classes? The possibilities are endless…

A new, larger gift shop area was created to give you more room to shop and offer some more variety. You’ll also notice you have a little room to hang out after your tour and take in the sights you may have missed during your tour.

On the brewing side, in addition to more storage space and a new malt room, we’re excited to bring in several nano brewing systems that will allow our brewers to create multiple batches at once so they can develop and experiment with many new beer ideas.
