Ticketdisaster: Brewers Association’s GABF Ticket Pre-Sale a chaotic mess

(Denver, CO) – The Brewers Association, a BeerPulse sponsor, had its hands full on Tuesday with Ticketmaster. A technical glitch on Ticketmaster’s website prevented Brewers Association members from ordering pre-sale tickets to the nation’s largest beer festival, The Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Colorado. The feedback on Twitter has been less than positive with many calling for the company to drop Ticketmaster in favor of an alternative like Eventbrite next year. To make matters worse, some are reporting that the site didn’t ask for a Brewers Association membership number, meaning that potentially anyone could get tickets. Some are reporting that the Pre-Sale tickets are now sold out. Hat tip to Chipper Dave for coining “Ticketdisaster.” See the full list of tweets.
