Why to go big and not go ‘nano’
I’ve operated Parish Brewing Co. for over 2 years now, furiously brewing a nano-amount of beer. I get several emails every week from aspiring nano-brewers from all over the country and they all have the same questions about my experiences, my custom equipment, and other general info about starting a tiny commercial brewery. […] Some of these answers may not be what you want to hear, but they are based in fact and my actual experience.

Nice stuff, Adam. Good to see this type of coverage here. I love the regular flow of releases and lawsuits, but as a homebrewer and “dreamer”, this is good to read. Cheers!
We have a brewery here in LA called Golden Road. They did the exact opposite approach most startups do. They bult a gigantic facility and did a huge marketing campaign, with the goal of growing into the facility and self made hype. It will be interesting to see how it all turns out, as I can’t recall anyone else attempting that approach.
