I have really been getting into pumpkin beers this year, and the Smashed Pumpkin didn’t really impress me. I expected it to, but was left wanting more. Fat Jack, from Sam Adams was the same way. That is a double pumpkin without any pumpkin! I will say that the Smashed Pumpkin is my second favorite on the shelf.

I can’t wait to try all of these brews from my hometown. It gives me a little taste of home down here in SoFL. Love the XXXX, Monkey Fist and just picked up my Double ESB and waiting on the Smashed Pumpkin. Great works guys!
Enjoying Soutthern Tier’s Pumking right now, I would have to say that the pumpkin part is not too strong. I’ll admit that I haven’t been a fan of flavored beers before, but Pugsley’s Smashed Pumpkin was a quick favorite. A shame that the liquor store I work at sold out of it so soon…
I fear the same fate awaits the remaining supply of Pumking.
p.s. Don’t ask for any Creme Brulee
