Lakefront Brewery(Milwaukee, WI) –Lakefront Brewery President, Russ Klisch, appeared on a Google+ Hangout at the Great American Beer Festival and shared some news regarding the brewery’s 25th anniversary (quietly turned 25 this year).

Lakefront plans to release a few beers in bottles (4-packs) to commemorate the milestone.

The first release will come on December 2nd, the company’s official birthday. The beer, which will hit 11% on the ABV scale, will be an imperial stout brewed with chocolate/cocoa nibs, vanilla bean and cherries.

There will be three more releases over the next year. The leading candidates are:

-bourbon dopplebock (spring)
-saison (summer)
-brandy barrel-aged pumpkin ale (fall)

Klisch also mentioned that brewer, Chad Sheridan, will be behind the next My Turn Series release but no info yet on what the beer will be.

Although Klisch didn’t mention it, label approval came in this week for Lakefront Black Friday Imperial India Black Ale this week.
