Washington-based Tieton Cider Works planning $1.5+ mil investment
The Campbells said they hope to start operating out of the new site by early 2013. That will give them enough time to hit their goal of turning out 40,000 cases of hard cider by the end of next year. […] Tieton Cider Works currently produces 10,000 cases a year and 36,000 gallons for kegs used in bars. But it can’t make any more in its current home, a 4,000-square-foot farm building, she said. The company plans to invest at least $1.5 million to expand its orchards from 20 to 50 acres and to add new production equipment, and more than $100,000 to remodel the building, Campbell said.
