(Juneau, AK) – Alaskan Brewing Company has news on three new and upcoming beers.

Alaskan Brewing is thrilled to launch this year’s fine vintage of award-winning Alaskan Smoked Porter! The 2012 release marks the twenty-fourth anniversary of this historically inspired recipe brewed with alder-smoked malt.
Alaskan Hopothermia is a bold and brrrrrly Double IPA. The second release from our Rough Draft Export series of beers, the Hopothermia is an outstanding, full-flavored representation of the American Double IPA style with and intense malt body resting in easy harmony with big, drinkable American hop character. Look for it on-draft only, across Alaska and the Northwest.
We’ve got a brand-new addition to our “Pilot Series” of limited edition specialty brews: Alaskan Imperial Red. This bold brew has a zesty array of hop flavors that meld beautifully with the complex malt character to create a surprisingly fresh and warming example of this west coast style. The Imperial Red will be available in limited quantities for a short time – just like the King Crab that graces its label. Look for it on draft and in 22 oz bottles December 1.
