Line for Goose Island Cherry Rye and Coffee Stout release wraps around liquor store
UPDATE: Turns out that the size of the line was due, in large part, to the release of some vintage bottles via raffle.
Goose Island Cherry Rye and Bourbon County Coffee Stout bottles were released for the first time at the popular liquor store chain, Binny’s Beverage, on Friday. Here is a video of the line wrapping 180 degrees around the store.

There was a Black Friday raffle for cellared GI bottles. That’s why most of us were there.
ah, good to know. I was wondering how many bottles of Cherry Rye & Coffee they could possibly have.
1 case of Cherry Rye which was raffled, and 6 cases of Coffee BCS which was first come first serve. 162 vintage items in general, plus Clybourn next door was throwing an event that featured a structured tasting of 6 bourbon county variants. Lots of reasons for the large line, certainly not for Coffee and Cherry Rye.
