Stone Brewing CEO on new brewery bubble: “We’re in danger of being trendish”

hate to say, it is already there Greg
+1 Bubba
I don’t understand why consumer awareness of craft beer is a problem? While it may be a little more difficult for large expansions of successful craft brewers, I think consumer awareness brings more people to their neighborhood brewers and that is a “trend” I have no problem with.
Agree with Bubba and dave. Craft beer is mainstream.
As long as they don’t start to compromise quality to meet demand, I’m ok. The new-comers to the scene may bail after a little while and go back to their Bud Light etc, after the “coolness” wears off.
First, I LOVE Stone Brewing beers. Second, Why do people that put themselves into the public spotlight get so worked up when the public actually takes notice? It’s like movie stars. They want everyone to watch them, they want to be paid millions of our dollars, then when someone wants a picture or interview it’s, ” O HELL NO”. Greg, your in the public spotlight along with your brewery, deal with it or go crawl under a boil kettle by yourself and be content. But, by all means, don’t look down your nose at the attention you asked for.
