With legal battle settled, Shelton Brothers forms new entity to re-enter Missouri

shelton brothers logo(O’Fallon, MO) – Shelton Brothers has formed Shelton Brothers Missouri LLC as it prepares to distribute beer into the state again after a long hiatus. The entity is now recognized by the TTB and has a liquor license approved in the town of O’Fallon.

The company was embroiled in a long legal battle with Missouri Beverage, which is outlined in detail here. What that summary doesn’t go into is Shelton Brothers’ involvement with a distributorship run by local beer maven, Brent Stafford. The Sheltons and Stafford discussed the issues on The High and Mighty Beer Show late last month with Stafford calling out MoBev for being hypocrites at one point.

Stafford will be heading up Shelton Brothers’ new Missouri operation

The domain, sheltonbrothersmissouri.com, was registered in September.

Stafford and the Sheltons also discuss the changes at A-B InBev since the InBev purchase in the second part of the episode.
