Spring Thaw Variety Pack – Finally confirmed the complete lineup for this pack: Maple Pecan Porter, White Lantern Wit, Irish Red, Double Agent IPL, Alpine Spring, Boston Lager. Despite winter starting less than a week ago, it already arrived at one location in Virginia so look for it elsewhere very soon.
Maple Pecan Porter – New addition to the mix and only available in the Spring Thaw pack.
New Albion Ale – Already been written about a ton over the past few months. Look for it in 6-packs in January.
White Lantern Wit – New year-round beer in 6-packs beginning in February. Unsure as to whether this is the same beer as the previously released White Ale but should fit a similar flavor profile if not. The post revealing that Noble Pils would replace White Ale as a seasonal back in 2010 received dozens of angry comments. Faith restored.
Double Agent IPL – New year-round beer in 6-packs beginning in February. As IPA sales continue to soar, “to what other beer styles can we apply hops?” may be one of the more common questions that brewers ask themselves over the next year or two. Brewers like nearby Jack’s Abby have figured out that they can successfully hop the hell out of lagers. Enter Double Agent IPL (India Pale Lager). Unlike Samuel Adams’ previously released Imperial Pilsner, this one weighs in at a more sessionable 5% ABV.
Twisted Tea Orange Citrus – Debuts as a seasonal 6-pack in January
Samuel Adams Latitude 48 IPA – As previously reported, this beer has been reformulated and will now feature the new hop on the block, the berry note-emanating hop called Mosaic.
