BrewDog doubles revenue in 2012, plans to open international bars in 2013

(Aberdeen, SCOTLAND) – BrewDog topped an already-impressive 2011 with a even-bigger 2012.

As they did at the end of 2011, company founders, James Watt and Martin Dickie, recap 2012 in the video above. A few highlights…

– Doubled revenue (they call it turnover in the UK) from 2011 to 14 million GBP

– Opened a brand-new brewery with a 100hl Rolec brewhouse (incl. centrifuge and hopback) this past fall

– Plans to dedicate old Fraserburgh brewery to experimentation (a bit vague but Dickie says ‘look out wild yeast’ so it looks like they’ll explore sour beers)

– Opened six new bars in 2012 and plans to open six bars internationally in 2013 including in Stockholm, Sweden, and São Paulo, Brazil

– Re-visited the incident in which Diageo told heads of an awards ceremony not to give BrewDog an award
