Night Shift Citranation Double IPA debuts this week

night shift brewing logo(Everett, MA) – Here is the latest from the Night Shift Brewing newsletter…

Awkward moment. We broke…and brewed an IPA. A Double IPA. One that has about 60 more IBUs than anything we’ve brewed so far (translation: we’ve never brewed a hoppy beer, and this one’s crazy hoppy). And there’s nothing funky or weird in it, just a whole lotta Citra hops. Brewed on election day, this beer asks us not to choose a Democratic or Republican nation, but instead: a CITRANATION (cue heavy drums).

Clocking in at 9.2%, Citranation is citra-hopped, Belgian-style, Double IPA, featuring tons of tropical flavors and a full, juicy body. We’re debuting it this Thursday night, 5-9pm at the taproom – samples & growlers only (no bottles this batch). Soon after, it will hit select bars around Boston (check Facebook and Twitter – #Citranation – for updates!).

We still have some Mainer Weisse bottles in stock! We know many of you couldn’t make it out to our Brewberry Fest party last week, so we limited Mainer purchases to one bottle per person. There isn’t much left, so we suggest swinging by soon to get yours!
