(Parkesburg, PA) – Victory Brewing Company is in the process of transporting eighteen tanks that arrived in Delaware from Germany this week. It will install the tanks at its new Parkesburg facility. More from Heavy Lift

The Port of Wilmington, Delaware has handled 18 oversized brewery tanks weighing 243 tonnes for the Victory Brewing Company. The tanks will be used at its new brewing facility in Parkesburg, Pennsylvania.

“We are pleased to provide logistical support and facilitate the expansion of Victory Brewing Company, a company that creates many regional jobs”, said Gene Bailey, Diamond State Port Corp. executive director.

Triple R. Transportation coordinated the project on behalf of Victory Brewing Company. The equipment was manufactured in Germany and shipped from Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

On arrival in Wilmington the tanks – each measuring between 14 m and 18 m – were unloaded using the port’s new 91 tonne mobile loader harbour crane by Delaware River Stevedores. Each tank was loaded directly on to heavy duty, low-boy trailers for delivery to the new Parkesburg facility.

As always, check out the Victory Brewing page for more background on the expansion.
