(San Francisco, CA) – Located at the corner of flavorful and refreshing is Pine Street Brewery – “The City’s” newest craft beer venture.

Known to its cult followers as PSB, Pine Street Brewery will begin to sell its artisanal brews to San Franciscans in February 2013. PSB will kick-off with a series of multi-district launch parties throughout the city leading up to the celebration of San Francisco Beer Week, where the new brewery will make its big debut.

The brainchild of Jay Holliday and Dave Alexander, Pine Street Brewery is a community-minded beer company focused on producing high quality, seasonal beers. Holliday and Alexander, who originally met through ties in the local food and beverage community, began brewing together three years ago in a dilapidated mansion in Pacific Heights, where they also hosted popular tastings for the local beer community.

“Pine Street Brewery was designed so that our products would be available for many different palates in many different communities,” notes Jay Holliday, whose official title at Pine Street Brewery is “Dreamer”. “There is a unique Pine Street in almost every area. We intend for our beer, interpretations of classic styles, to unite San Franciscans, and eventually people across the US, one beer at a time”

Pine Street will release its beers seasonally, starting with its signature brew “Atom Splitter”– a West Coast Pale Ale blending centennial and cascade hops creating a slight citrus flavor profile causing a lighter body which delivers easy drinkability (5% abv).

“As a fourth generation San Franciscan, the City has gone through many phases,” says Dave Alexander, “Fun Guy”. “Right now people are passionate about local and high quality products. I believe we’re delivering both.”
