White Labs testing verifies A-B InBev’s ABV claims (audio)
Tests conducted on Budweiser, Bud Light Lime, and Michelob Ultra this week by San Diego’s White Labs found that "the alcohol percentages inside the cans were the same as what was stated on the can," says analytical laboratory specialist Kara Taylor. "Some of them were spot-on. Others deviated, plus or minus, within a hundredth of a percentage" — well within federal limits, she says.
Inexplicable that the legal team did not independently test the beers before going to trial…

Breweries: A-B InBev

It’s not inexplicable if your sole reason for filing the lawsuit is an attempt to gain publicity in hopes of thwarting the merger between AB InBev and the Modelo Group. I’m almost convinced this entire suit was set up by MillerCoors. There’s no other explanation for not getting some relatively inexpensive testing done before filing the suit.

That or hoping that A-B InBev would want to settle to make the press go away. But if I was A-B InBev, I’d fight them on it.
I’m going with Nason! As soon as they listed individuals that felt mislead about the ABV and they have been purchasing the beer for years, I knew this was a classic “let’s hope they settle” kind of case. With that being said i don’t think AB Inbev will back down because this is attacking their integrity as a brand! I say fight it and early results say they will win!
I think this whole lawsuit is Puro Bluff! If I were InBev I go after those individuals who want to tarnish the brand.
