Greg Zeschuk, host of The Beer Diaries, visits World Beer Cup Gold Medalist, Hops and Grain of Austin, Texas, to talk to founder and brewer Josh Hare. The guys discuss not only brewing and beer, but also Hops and Grain’s philosophy around sustainability in craft brewing.
Hops and Grain is a relative newcomer to the Austin scene, but they had a huge impact by winning a World Beer Cup Gold Medal with their Altbier, Alt-eration (one of their very first beers). They have since started an aggressive barrel-aging program and are developing a number of interesting and experimental brews.
