(Petaluma, CA) – Lagunitas Brewing Co. produced 235k barrels last year, according to a February Petaluma Patch report. It marks the third-straight year of 40%+ growth for the brewery which produced 165k barrels in 2011.
Lagunitas has surged into sixth place among the country’s top-producing craft brewers, according to BeerPulse research.
Earlier this month, the company tweeted out that it had received two new 750-barrel fermentation tanks at its Petaluma facility and has slots where they plan to put five more. The two tanks give the company an additional 36k barrels in capacity.
In other news, the brewery had planned to package Undercover Shut-Down Ale last week.
That’s great but why no Hairy Eyeball if they have all that capacity?
On the schedule for November 2013 per brewery website.
