(Columbus, OH) – Neil House Brewery announced two week ago that the company would close effective immediately. Not sure what the situation is but production in 2011, per the Brewers Association, was only 25 barrels on the year (or 50 half-barrel kegs). Here is the company’s Facebook announcement:
—
We regret to inform you that unfortunately we are closing the doors on the Neil House Brewery. We thank all of you for the dedication you’ve shown us over the past few years and appreciate all that you’ve done for us. Without the support of fans like you, we wouldn’t have come this far.
The Brewery and Home Brew Supply shop will be open Friday from 11-7pm and Saturday 10am – 2pm. As of Monday, March 4th we’ll be open by appointment only as we attempt to sell off our remaining inventory.
Perhaps one day in the future we’ll be in a position to make a comeback, but not today. In the meantime, we encourage you all to continue showing your love and support to the other local breweries.
Is there. Equipment for sale. I!d like to keep it out of the grubby bankers hands.
