
Illinois House unanimously passes bill loosening restrictions on homebrews, goes to Senate
House Bill 630 was drafted to allow Illinois homebrewers to legally share homebrew with friends and family, at club meetings and to enter homebrew competitions. The bill also allows homebrew supply shops to conduct brewing demonstrations and offer samples to customers. The bill has been passed by the House Executive Committee and is now awaiting a vote before the full House, which could occur at any time.
