A new television spot from Anheuser-Busch InBev that aired during Major League Baseball on Saturday boasts the company’s repertoire of twelve breweries across the country. “Do you know where your Bud is brewed? It’s probably closer than you think. You might even say we’re America’s largest local brewer.”
Meanwhile, the company has taken some public criticism for cost-cutting measures since the Anheuser-Busch / InBev merger back in 2008. A report based out of St. Louis recently said that 1,000 jobs have been cut at that facility.
So they admit that horrible beer IS brewed locally…thanks InBev. Will they ever realize that no $$ amount of advertisements will change the fact that their beer is crap? Pathetic…trying to spin their “local” ties. Wonder if they’ll ever do an ad featuring their shady sales reps/Bud-owned distribution companies strong-arming local bars? Probably not.
Kick rocks InBev….
This would be like Toyota claiming to be the biggest American car manufacturer. Sorry guys, but it’s really difficult to be local when you’re foreign owned.
This reminds me of when the muppet babies would stand on each others shoulders, put on an overcoat, hat, and mustache then try to interact with adults…LULZ…nice try BEV…hilarity on TAP
Isn”t Inbev a Belgium company owned by Brazilians ?
Anheuser Busch Inbev is owned by stock holders. Stock holders can live anywhere in the world. Company is based out of Belgium. The CEO is brazilian.
