(Chicago, IL) – About a year ago, Lagunitas Brewing Co. founder, Tony Magee, took to Twitter to make the case against cans, mainly centered around the resource-intensive process of bauxite mining. A post read here by 11,000 of you. One year later, Magee reveals that cans could be part of the long-term plan at Lagunitas’ Chicago facility.
Magee tweeted on Easter an “isometric drawing” of the plant showing that it may one day can. Magee again alluded to bauxite mining and may be reluctant to do it but says, “But if n 5yrs y’all still dig cans… ur still the boss.”
