(Woodbridge, CT) – New England Brewing Co. reported some noteworthy developments on its Facebook page over the past month.
The company announced on May 31st that it will add an automated canning line, a vast upgrade over its manual two-head filler, but offered no timetable.
Early in June, New England added a bright tank and a 30 barrel fermenter. Later in June, a 10 barrel tank (for experimentation) arrived with a swath of new kegs.
Finally, New England released Weiss Trash Culture Berliner Weisse in cans for the first time this weekend. $10 a piece. 3.4% abv, 6 IBU’s (at that point listing IBUs is kind of irreleveant, right)? CraftCans reports it is the first Berliner Weisse in cans (at least in the USA).
